Mmmm... Sweet potatoes!!!

Yummy! Her first taste of sweet potatoes! I tried making my own, and the books said not to put it in the processor and just to bake them and mash them myself. Well, it was too chunky and she gagged a bit. So tonight we tried the store bought kind and she LOVED them! She ate them up and wanted more! So we will do store bought potatoes but the rest like carrots and squash I can do in the processor.

She is now pulling up and trying to stand! She can get to a kneeling position fine, and then it takes a few tries for her to stand but she does it. I don't have any pics yet of it, but I will soon. She stopped talking a bit, but now she is at it again. She is so curious and crawling all over the house. Its wonderful!

Visit with Grandma and Grandpa

We visited Grandma and Grandpa Woodruff this weekend. We had a wonderful time and Kylie started talking! She says dadadada and nananana. Of course since we got home, she hasn't really talked much. We started her on cereal and she is having a hard time adjusting to it. I don't think she likes the taste of the rice cereal. So we are going to try oatmeal in a few days.

We also saw Grandma and Grandpa Fenske. We met for lunch at Applebees and Kylie did great. She didn't like the high chair and insisted on sitting with us in the bench. Grandma didn't seem to mind that!

She is zooming around the house in her little army crawl and just loving it. She is also pulling up on us to her knees and trying to stand but not quite getting it yet. At grandma and grandpa's she pulled up on some chair rungs- it was so cute! She is getting so big now!

I'm so cute it hurts!

It was so nice outside yesterday so I took Kylie outside to take some pictures. They turned out awesome! There are more on that babysites webpage.

She is still crawling! Its amazing the things we overlook when we are babyproofing!

She's crawling!

Kylie is finally crawling! Its not a full fledged one yet, but she has the army crawl down pretty good. We will put her a couple feet away from her toys and she will crawl towards them now! Soon she will be zooming around the house! We baby-proofed the house today to get ready for Kylie crawling. She was already trying to get to the DVD player under the TV. Hope everyone had a great New Years!
