So Big!

Kylie is really into immitating us now. When we cluck our tongues, she does. When we clap, she claps. When we wave, she waves. Yes she can wave now! Her biggest thing is when we say "So Big!" She will put her arms up over her head. Its so cute! Sometimes she doesn't quite get both arms up, and only one will go up. But that won't make it all the way and she looks like she is saluting hitler! Its awesome.

She is almost 9 months now and I can't believe it! She is such a happy little girl and is so curious to the point of being annoying sometimes! Changing her diaper is still a wrestling match every single time. Man, you'd think she would have figured out by now that its so much quicker and painless if she just lays still. But no, she acts like I am torturing her or something.

She is standing by herself for longer periods of time now too. Its hard to take a picture though because whenever she sees the camera at all, she stops whatever she is doing and zooms towards me to try and grab it. So I could only sneak a shot of her from behind.

I thought Daylight Savings Time would be good for us because she would get up when the clock says 8 because her body would think it was 7. No such luck. I heard her around 7:15 this morning. Oh well. Not a big deal. She is trying new foods every day and still isn't into it as much. She goes through spurts of every few days not wanting to eat any food. She cries and bats it out of the way so it goes all over the place. But other days she will eat it up no problem. Ah, the joys of having a baby. You just never know whats going to happen every day.

She still doesn't quite get "no" but I think she knows it means something. Because when we say it she just gets this huge mischevious grin on her face and laughs. Her and Maverick are getting along pretty well still. He plays a lot more with her, but we have to watch him when he does. He gets a little carried away sometimes. She gets so excited sometimes when she sees him. Especially in the mornings when she wakes up or if its been a while since she has seen him. She tries to kiss him but he won't let her.

Finally, she is totally in love with Grover. We have a book called Grover and the Everything in the WHole Wide World Museum and she is mesmerized by him. I read it and she just stares and strokes him sometimes. She will even lean down and try to kiss him. Its so cute! We are on the hunt to find a stuffed Grover for her. So far no suck luck- Elmo has invaded everything!

I am also so excited spring is finally here. I am excited to bring Kylie outside a lot more now.
